When we left Yambury Road we drove right into Qualicum Beach and the water was suddenly calm. Weird.
We then drove to Rathtrevor Beach. The waves were really coming in and hitting the retaining wall hard along the beach. There were many shells being tossed up onto the beach. The sun was setting but it was really cloudy so you could only see a wee bit of pink through the clouds.
The waves weren’t as large as they were earlier but still very cool to see!
Once back in Parksville the waves had stopped and the water was back to normal.
