RoxyWallHanger was born when Roxann & Trevor fused together their love of nature, passion for photography and adventurous spirit into a vivacious endeavor. Both “Salt of the Earth” people, with deep rural roots, it is no surprise they were destined to meet in a small saloon on the Canadian Prairies.
These two ‘love birds’ have traveled the Canadian West, capturing alluring images from the wide open plains of Saskatchewan to the foothills and Rocky Mountains of Alberta and the rugged wilderness of British Columbia. Their subjects range from old buildings to old growth forests, enormous mountains to tiny wildflowers and sparkling sunny beaches to dark hidden relics.
In 2007, they began their search for a location to share their images and experiences with others and in the spring of 2010, they opened RoxyWallHanger Gallery in beautiful Parksville, B.C. As residents of Vancouver Island a multitude of inspirations can be found in their own backyard. When not at the Gallery, they find themselves “On Safari” – cameras in hand exploring the forest, walking the beach or trekking back country roads.
Participating in workshops and seminars also strengthens their skills and knowledge in the evolving world of photography. Continually discovering new destinations ensures a steady flow of images that radiate the RoxyWallHanger enthusiasm and energy.
“At RoxyWallHanger, our goal is to help you create your own distinct harmonious environment. Enjoy!”
